Hands-on volunteer work and partnerships in support of neighbors facing food insecurity.
I believe that meaningful change begins with action.
Through hands-on volunteer service and community partnerships, I work to support individuals facing food insecurity and strengthen the communities around me. My service experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, responsibility, and compassion.
Each drive starts with outreach — flyers, class announcements, and a collection point set up at school — then a hands-on sorting and delivery day with fellow volunteers.
Non-perishables, hygiene items, and seasonal essentials are the usual focus, chosen in coordination with partner organizations.
Beyond one-off drives, I volunteer on a recurring basis, helping with meal prep, serving, and clean-up alongside a rotating group of community volunteers.
Partnerships with organizations like City Harvest help connect what we collect with the people who need it most.
Service works best when it’s consistent, not occasional — showing up week after week is what actually builds trust with a community.
